Okay...here we go again..

| In the port terminal |
Our second port on this cruise was Stockholm, Sweden. I didn't know much about Stockholm other than it was a city that was on many little islands. We arrived early in morning and left the ship to find some Hop on Hop off buses right at the port. We again decided this might be the best way to get in to town and to get our bearings.
We got off the bus near the old part of town. This is the palace.

Included in the price of the hop on hop off bus was also hop on hop off boat! It was a fun way to see Stockholm from a different perspective..

| Beautiful Stockholm |
Stockholm was a very pretty city...water views everywhere but my favorite thing was definitely the Vasa Museum. When I walked into the building and saw the ship, my jaw dropped and it literally took my breath away. It was quite an experience to see this huge ship put back together with 90 percent of it's original timbers. In 1628, the ship sunk in the Stockholm harbor on it's maiden voyage due to improper ballast (it was top heavy). It was brought up in 1961 and painstakingly restored and now sits in this very amazing museum.
We set sail that evening for Estonia. The passage out of Stockholm was one of the most picturesque I've ever seen! So many little islands dotting the channel and charming little houses on each one...
Next Stop....Tallin, Estonia!
